Variations on Glenn Gould
NOMAD made this short documentary series entitled Variations on Glenn Gould for Radio Canada as a live multi-platform project. The films played on radio, television, and the web simultaneously.
Not only did Glenn Gould utterly dedicate himself to his art, he was also magnificently generous with it, being a true multimedia man, utilizing as many platforms as were available to him.
Great thanks to Hughes Sweeney for the mandate and direction, to Namai Khampo for taking a hold of it, David Clermont Béique for keeping it together, Jason Last for the editing support, Greg Barth for the animations, Johnny Ranger for his video samples, and especially Christian Thomas for the magnificent sound of music, which happen to be more then 50% of the job in this particular case.
